Oscar Fingal Wilde

Oscar Fingal Wilde is the founder member of Metamorphosess, with the main objetive to find a certain ability user who could grant him is biggest wish. His ability is The Ghost of Canterville.

Appearance

Oscar is a youthful person with tanned skin, violet eyes and a beauty mark under the left eye. His raven black hair is long and straight, with a sigle strand on the face.
His outfit are quite complex, using blue pants and a turtle neck short sleeve, black high boots and a off-shoulder white coat fastened with a corset with chains.
During his flashback with Henry, he uses a white shirt with grey vest and black pants, or a bishop sleeve white shirt with a jabot tie, and black pants. Often he would use a blue saphire in the jabot

Personality

Oscar is a very proud man with a taciturne nature. He tends to not become too attached to things or people because they'll eventualy disappear before his eyes. Oscar acts with a certain arrogance, as if he's been around for centuries and knows more than everyone else (which, in fact, he does). He usually doesn't think much about the consequences if they only affect him. Wilde developed a certain fascination with poisons and their ability to take someone's life, when came from such beautiful flowers.

Ability

Description

His ability, The Ghost of Canterville makes him imortal. Doesn't age nor die no mather what, not even with abilitys.

Although his ability does nothing more than make him live forever, he is very rich and pro-efficient in combat with almost any weapon by living for hundreds of years

Oscar uses a cane because his hability demands much of his body, making it sometimes difficult to walk without support

Derivation

The ability is a reference to The Canterville Ghost, a humurous story by the author Oscar Wilde and a direct reference to The Picture of Dorian Gray that were published in 1887 and 1890.

Background

Early Years

It's unknown how many years centuries Oscar has lived, just that he first die with 23 years and that he saw some historic marks, like the Constantinople fall or the Martin Luther's Protestant Reformation. He saw Dumas being hanged and saved by a lady who would call herself Milady

Living as Dorian Gray

In XIX century, Oscar lived by the name Dorian Gray in Ascot, England, in a property known as Canterville Castle, due to its size. During this "life", Wilde felt in love with a young men named Henry. Henry knew about Oscar imortality, but never called him by his true name. In a birthday party organized for Oscar against is will, the two lovers runned away for a toast. Both Oscar and Henry were both poisoned in that day. Oscar survived thanks to his ability, but Henry died.

Creating Metamorphoses

For years Oscar has tried to find a way to end the effects of his ability. Death for him wasn't possible with natural metods, nor with abilities that would kill anyone. At a certain time, he heared about a certain ability user who could judge souls and realize wishes of pure souls. He decided to search for this person that he didn't even know if was real or not.

Later in life, Oscar saw Dumas again, but this time in present days. Alexandre wish to go back to his time leed to the creation os Metamorphoses.

Trivia

• Despite painting, Oscar hates portraits of himself because they show how he doesn't age
• His favorite flowers are sunflowers and Belladonnas
• It's believed that the Canterville mansion is haunted due the public's lack of awareness that Oscar still lives there
• Oscar is bisexual and in the ace spectrum
• His alias Oz is at the same time a nickname for Oscar, and a reference to Pandora Hearts
